Hello I'm Ruijie Shen

I am an emerging interior designer and have an interest in creating work that combines filmmaking such as stop-motion animation. In my practice, I particularly focus on the dynamic interaction of experience, narrative structure, the relationship between films and space rather than the formulaic design style. I participated in a series of interior refurbishment projects, exhibition design, and residential space projects. In projects, I often explore the subject of architectural and spatial design particularly in the urban setting/landscape, whilst also having a concern for social issues within China for example the current population crisis.

After completing my Master's degree and obtaining a Destination Honour in 2021. I plan to work as an interior designer to gain more experience in desired fields.
